May is Safeguarding month in the Diocese of Killaloe. Since Covid we are seeing ministry with children, such as pray and play, Altar Servers etc returning in the parishes. The Diocese ensures that all children involved in parish activities are safe and cared for. We have in place, parental / guardian consent forms for all activities, code of conduct for both children & adults, sign in and out registers, gardai vetting for all adult helpers / leaders. BALLINDERRY DIGITAL HUB will be offering a drop in digital skills assistance facility for members of the community on Fridays from 11.00am to 12.00 commencing Friday May 17th. for 6 weeks. A number of volunteers will be on hand to assist with queries such as using WhatsApp, sending photos, searching for information etc. There is no need to book, just drop in to the pavilion, Ballinderry at the aforementioned times.
