Trócaire Lenten Campaign 2025    We ask for your help in returning all Trócaire Boxes and offerings and we thank all those who have done so.  Please return donations this week as we need to send all donations to the diocese by the end of the month,

Terryglass N.S. Astro The official opening of the Astro pitch is on this Sunday 18th May at 10:30am.  All are welcome!

1st Communion in Terryglass church next weekend, Sunday May 25th  at llam. Please note Mass time change.

Confirmation in Kilbarron Church on Sunday June 8th  at 11am.

 

FR TOM’S GOLDEN JUBILEE  Mass in Borrisokane church led by Bishop Fintan on Friday May 30th at 8pm to celebrate 50 years of priesthood.  All are welcome and there will be a cuppa in the church after Mass.

 

SAFEGUARDING MONTH – May 2025  Safeguarding in the churches safeguarding policy ‘A safe and welcoming church’ June 2024

Bishop Fintan pledges that the diocese will safeguard children and young people from harm and to support them in their development as valued and integral members of the catholic church in Ireland.

VISIT OF STATUE OF SACRED HEART TO COIS DEIRGE 

Wednesday June 4th  and Thursday June 5th – one of 3 statues blessed by Pope Francis for Holy Year of Hope.  More details next week.

 

CLOTHES COLLECTION – Kilbarron N.S. Parents Association will collect used clothing in good clean dry condition, i.e., men’s, ladies and children’s clothing, paired shoes, belts, hats, handbags and soft toys, curtains, towels, bed linen.   Kilbarron hall on Sat May 24th  from 11am to 1.30pm.

 

BALLINDERRY COMMUNITY SPORTSFIELD LOTTO DRAW

Our lotto took place this week  May 12th   2025 @ 9pm.

Jackpot: €15,000    Numbers:  14-22 -25– 33.  No Jackpot Winner.
