” I just wanted to get in touch with you to see if I could perhaps get some locals from the Terryglass & Kilbarron Parish involved in a new Regional Consumer Show clinic we are doing in Tipperary with Eddie Hobbs. I’m working on the Consumer Show with RTE and Eddie Hobbs is doing a series of regional consumer clinics around the country and the next one, to cover the mid-west region, is in Nenagh at the end of April. I am trying to get a good mix of people from around the region to come along and ask a question which can be anything to savings & pensions, to rights and entitlements, to issues resolving a consumer issue. We also want to get young and old involved, so we would love to have a parent and child, or grandparent along who would like to talk to Eddie. ”
Eddie Hobbs comes to Mid-West to hear your Consumer & Financial Issues
RTÉ Television’s The Consumer Show to film in Nenagh in April
Financial guru Eddie Hobbs will be in Nenagh on Saturday April 28th to talk to the people of Tipperary, and surrounding areas, for the second in a series of Regional Mobile Money Clinics, as part of filming for the new series of The Consumer Show on RTÉ One. The show is back on our screens for its third series from Tuesday 10th April for a 10 week run.
Eddie Hobbs said, “As part of the upcoming new series of The Consumer Show we are holding a Mobile Money Clinic in Nenagh and I want to hear from anyone in the mid-west region, who needs financial or consumer advice or feels that I can assist them with an issue.”
*Are you having difficulties with warranties or faulty goods or services?
*Do you need help managing your loans or debt?
*Do you need guidance with money, budgeting or savings?
*Would you like Eddie’s help in resolving an issue?
“If you would you like my help with these, or any other problems – lump sums, savings, where to cut back, investment, education, mortgages – I will be in Nenagh on Saturday 28th April with The Consumer Show to answer your individual consumer and financial questions in a one-to-one situation and to offer any help I can.”
*(The location, which will be in the town centre, will be confirmed closer to the date).
Anyone who wishes to participate in the Clinic and talk to Eddie should contact the production team in advance to register their interest. Those wishing to take part should contact Sharon Newman, researcher at Coco Television, in confidence, on 01 2084645 or at sharon@cocotelevision.ie.
The Mobile Money Community Clinic was first featured in the last series of The Consumer Show and took place in Dublin in 2011. It was such a success that the show’s producers decided to roll it out around the country. We have already filmed in Dundalk and got a huge response from the community. Nenagh is the second town in a nationwide series of clinics with Eddie.
