PANTO IN KILBARRON – One More Night
For anyone who did not get the opportunity to see this fantastic show last weekend – we have great news – there will be one final performance next Friday night at 8pm.
On Friday Jan 8th and Saturday Jan 9th, we had two sold out shows with several people turned away on both nights. The brilliant performance of all cast members of this first ever Panto in Kilbarron received a well- deserved standing ovation on opening night. The Panto showcases the wonderful local talent, young and not so young! For your last chance to see the highly entertaining ‘Cinderella, the Panto’, please note that doors open at 7pm on Friday Jan 15th with curtains up at 8pm. Admission is just €10 for adults and €5 for children.

KILBARRON / TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Historical Society meeting scheduled for Friday 15th January has been postponed until the following Friday the 22nd January. It will be held in the pavillion, Ballinderry and will start at 7.30pm. Apologies for the change of date but it was necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
All committee and sub-committee members are asked to attend. The meeting will centre on progressing the Journal as it is due for release this coming March. We will also need to plan an event/lecture etc for the February meeting.
Anyone with material, photographs, stories which they wish to have considered for the Journal are more than welcome to attend and contribute to its layout and contents. Suggestions are also welcome for the February meeting.

CHURCH NEWS
GETTING MARRIED in 2016 ? If you are planning to get married soon we would like to remind you of the necessity of :
1. Giving at least 3 months notice to your local Priest.
2. Giving at least 3 months notice to the State Registrar, Tyone Health Centre, Nenagh.
3. Doing an Accord Pre-Marriage Course or one in Esker Retreat House, Athenry well in advance (at least 6 months) of the date of marriage. Dates of Pre-Marriage Courses are posted in our Churches.
4. Filling in the pre-marriage papers (pre-Nuptial Enquiry Form) with your local priest.
Note: We have bookings for quite a number of weddings from outside the parish each year, therefore it is advisable to book the Church as early as possible .

KILBARRON WALKERS
Just a reminder that we are still walking every night – meeting in the carpark in Kilbarron village at 8pm. Come and join us any night, it’s a great way to walk off the excesses of Christmas and work on that ‘new you’ in the New Year.

BOXERCISE
Boxercise classes have started in Kilbarron Hall every Tuesday night at 7pm. Classes are for males and females and suitable for all fitness levels. For more information please see Boxercise Kilbarron Facebook page, or contact David at 087 4178308.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
