TERRYGLASS AND KILBARRON COME COOK WITH US
Ballinderry Sportsfield Committee presents ‘COME COOK WITH US’ a fun cookery demonstration with local ‘celebrity chefs’ in Coolbawn Quay on Friday February 6th at 8pm. A night not to be missed, filled with cooking, craic agus ceol!
Tickets, cost €20 and includes entry into the rafffle, which has a top prize of an overnight stay in a luxurious location, are now available from Hannigan’s Kilbarron, Elsie Hogan’s, Ballinderry, Paddy’s and The Derg, Terryglass, Kennedy’s pub, Puckane, McDermott’s Pharmacy and Donal Leenane, butcher, Borrisokane.Come along to see local participants show off their moves in the kitchen department while pairing up to compete against each other for your vote!
The show will be presented by TV3 chef Joe Shannon and comedian Frank Forde. The demonstration will be followed by great local music provided by our very own THE GRINGO’S – featuring Simon Ryan, Mark Brophy and Niall Reddan. The event will be held in Coolbawn Quay on Friday the 6th of February.Doors open at 7pm, throw in 8pm!Tickets €20 including entry to raffle. BORRISOKANE PLAY 

Please support Borrisokane Players who present the comedy ‘God of Carnage’ in the Clarke Memorial Hall from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th January at 8.30pm.

KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The next meeting will be held on Fri 16th Jan at 8pm in the Pavillion, Ballinderry. All members are asked to attend as the Society has been asked to give an input to a proposed Heritage Project. This may be an ideal opportunity to highlight the heritage, sites and places of interest in the parish. New members always welcome.

BALLINDERRY SURVEY
The results of the survey in Ballinderry clearly identify the requirement for a shop in the village. This shop will open within the existing Craft Shop & Tearoom, in the village of Ballinderry early in 2015.

Lower ormond cycle club
The Lower Ormond Cycle Club will hold a meeting in Hannigans, Kilbarron on Friday 16th Jan at 9pm. Beginners welcome.

BAPTISM
We welcome Lucia Rose Deasy into our Christian community. Lucia is the daughter of Andrew and Meave Deasy, Portumna.

PHOTO APPEAL
Kilbarron N.S. Parents Association are currently seeking old school photographs from down the years. We are in the early stages of compiling a book which brings together the memories and pictures of both students and teachers from all eras of the school. If anyone has memorabilia or pictures we could include we would be very grateful. Please contact Kathy Slattery, Margaret O’Brien or Carmel Fox.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,800. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surroundingsurrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/Ballinderryand Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
