Today is World Day of the Poor.
The theme given to us by the Pope this year is “Stretch forth your hand to the poor” On this Sunday we can reflect on the Corporal Works of Mercy:
To feed the hungry.
To give water to the thirsty.
To clothe the naked.
To shelter the homeless.
To visit the sick.
To visit the imprisoned.
To bury the dead.
