Benevolent Fund Collection is next weekend.  It supports the sick and retired Priests of our Diocese


AUCTION & FAMILY FUN DAY in Aglish Hall on Sunday 10th Sept at 2pm.  All proceeds in aid of North Tipperary Hospice and The Irish Cancer Society. 


WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY is marked today.  The theme is creating Hope through Action.  An invitation is issued to everyone to light a candle in Church after mass or over this weekend or at 8pm Sunday evening in their homes to remember a lost loved one.  It is important to show our support for Suicide Prevention and to remember survivors of suicide.


FIRST COMMUNION / CONFIRMATION  Parents of First Holy Communion and Confirmation children are invited to attend Borrisokane Community Centre,  Birr Road as follows –

  • Parents of First Holy Communion children Wed 13th Sept at 7.30pm
  • Parents of Confirmation students Thurs 14th Sept at 7.30pm

Annual Coffee Morning in aid of Milford Hospice – Bridie O Meara and friends will be hosting their Annual Coffee Morning in aid of Milford Hospice on Thursday 21st of September at Bridies house in Ballinderry.  Come and enjoy a Tea or Coffee and support the wonderful people of Milford Hospice who continue to do excellent work.
