As a fundraiser for Shannon Rangers soccer club, Brendan Grace will be performing in Coolbawn Quay on Thursday, March 10th at 8pm. Tickets are €30 and can be purchased in all local pubs and shops or from the following committee members – Timmy 087 8120841, Rossi – 087 7423990, Damian 087 7640779. This promises to be a great night’s entertainment and you are encouraged to book your tickets as soon as possible as they are selling fast.

Rehearsals are underway for this year’s production of Bernard Farrell’s comedy – ‘Happy Birthday Dear Alice’ which will go on stage in Kilbarron Hall for three nights only – Sat March 19th, Sunday March 20th and Good Friday March 25th. Once again we welcome back director Phil Quigley who, with the help of our very talented cast, we look forward to another top class production.

Parents wishing to enroll their children in Terryglass N.S. can do so by calling the school on 067 22269 on or before Friday March 11th.

Kilbarron N.S. Parents Association will hold a cake sale in Kilbarron Small Hall after Mass on Sunday February 21st. Donations of cakes and buns welcome.

Start collecting your used clothing, shoes, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys (any condition once they are clean). Bags may be dropped to Kilbarron school any Friday from now on. If you need to have your bags collected please contact Siobhan Cleary at 087 6986054.

Knigh United Girls Soccer club are collecting 1c and 2c coin for their current fundraiser . If you have any small coins lying around that you would be willing to donate, please contact Marcella at 087 6879502.

YOUTH TO LOURDES: This year 48 young people will travel to Lourdes as part of the Diocesan Pilgrimage (June 26th to July 1st) to work as helpers to the sick. We are hoping to sponsor a young person from our Parish (from Transition year upwards and must be over 16 and under 18 years on date of travel ) to be part of this group. If you are interested please give your name to the Parish office by Sunday Feb 21st .
READINGS FOR LENT: A little prayer and reflection around the Sunday readings will take place in the Parochial House, Terryglass each Monday night during Lent from 8pm to 9pm. All are welcome.
Trócaire boxes are now available in the Churches and you are encouraged to take one. All donations made, no matter how small, will be very welcome.

There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
