Weekly News 30th March 2013

KILBARRON DRAMA GROUP
This year’s play ‘The Cripple of Inishmann’ will be on stage in Kilbarron Hall this weekend. Opening on Thursday March 28th at 8.30pm, there will be four performances only, finishing on Easter Sunday night March 31st. Rehearsals have been going on for the last seven weeks and the cast is looking forward to putting on this challenging production. Countless hours have gone into creating a spectacular set which will enhance your enjoyment of this dark comedy.
While Billy Claven (Joe O’Meara) is the physical cripple on the island it soon becomes clear that many of the others characters are either mentally or emotionally crippled in their own way. Under the direction of Phil Quigley, the cast brings the characters to life, so make sure you pay a visit over the Easter weekend.
