TERRYGLASS ARTS FESTIVAL
Terryglass Arts Festival AGM will take place on May 4th in Terryglass Hall at 7.30pm. New members always welcome.

DARKNESS INTO LIGHT
Nenagh will host its Darkness Into Light walk in the early hours of Saturday May 6th. Departing Nenagh College at 4am, taking in the by-pass, Gortlandroe and back to Nenagh College via the Castle. For

NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY
The Annual Tea Day for the Alzheimer Society takes place on this Thursday 4th. May. This is our biggest fund-raiser of the year and we encourage people to support the local “Tea Days” in your area. All monies received go to support the care of Alzheimer sufferers in their own homes, by professional carers, for as long as possible. We are holding a Tea Day in our Office at 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Wednesday10th. May from 10am. – 2pm. All all are welcome for a chat and a “cuppa”.

Congratulations and best wishes to the children who received their First Holy Communion in Kilbarron Church last Sunday – Grace Clarke, Margaret Cleary, Emma Costello, Eimear Heenan, Anna Kennedy, Ellen O’Dwyer, Lily O’Neill, Shane Boyle, Rory Fox, Tadgh Fogarty, Callum Kennedy, Ciaran Kennedy, Cathal O’Brien.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Please pray for the children from Terryglass school who will receive their First Holy Communion next Sunday, May 7th at 11am Mass.
FRIDAY 5th May is 1ST FRIDAY. MASSES: Kilbarron – 9am. Terryglass – 8pm preceded by Adoration : 7pm. Benediction : 7.50pm. Confessions will be available before both Masses.
Baptism
We welcome James Stephen Darcy into our Christian Community. James who is son of Stephen and Angela, Crossanagh was baptised in Terryglass Church.

ART EXHIBITION IN LORRHA COMMUNITY SHOP
Lorrha Community Shop is hosting a children’s art exhibition of creations by the students of Ute Duggan “Bramble Art” from Saturday, April 29th – May 6th. All are welcome.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh, Ardcroney, Borrisokane, Ballinderry and Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
