Lent has begun!

We prepare for the great mystery of the death and resurrection of Jesus.

  • Perhaps, it is a time to reflect on balance in our lives!
  • Our commitment to the poor and to justice is a crucial part of Lent.

 CONFIRMATION –  Bishop Fintan will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in Terryglass Church on next Sunday March 8th at 11am.  Please note that the Saturday evening Mass will be in Kilbarron at 8pm.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL meeting in Terryglass on Wed. Mar 4th at 8pm.  If you have any item for the agenda please contact any member of the PPC. Area Pastoral Council meeting on Tues Mar 10th in Terryglass at 8pm.

Pastoral Planning concerns all of us Bishop Fintan has outlined the next steps for Pastoral Planning in the diocese. Phase 1: March to May – We think about the Church of the future.  This begins with Fr Michael Conway who will speak to us in Nenagh on Thursday 12th March.  All involved in Parish ministry and all interested parties are welcome.

Bethany Bereavement Support Training Weekend  March 12 to 14th in Esker.  The parish will sponsor anyone interested in doing this training.
