First Sunday of Lent – it is a time of reflection and remembrance.

A time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

It is also a time to focus our hearts and minds on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Kilalloe Diocesan Collection for Turkey/Syria

A retiring collection will be held after all Masses this weekend – 25/26th Feb.

Conversations about the future of our Church

There are currently 23 parishes without resident priests. We have just 50 priests under 75 in ministry in our diocese.  The next phase is our three parishes meeting with Bishop Fintan.  This meeting is scheduled for Thursday 30th March 8pm in Borrisokane Community Centre. TROCAIRE  This year Trócaire is celebrating fifty years working on behalf of the Irish Church, working for justice and responding to the cry of the poor. Trócaire boxes are available in all churches.

 

  1. VINCENT DE PAUL THANKS – total amount donated to our Christmas Cribs was €1165 which was sent to the local St. Vincent de Paul office.
