This arrangment was decided at the individual Pastoral Councils for two weeks and from July we are back the usual schedule. It is to help in the absence of a priest on holiday. Many thanks for your co-operation.
RETIREMENT Noreen Sheridan will be retiring as principal of Terryglass school after 27 years. There will be a farewell event in the hall at 12 o’clock on Friday the 21th of June. Board of Management Terryglass School.
KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
On Sunday June 30th at 3pm we will be in Terryglass Old Cemetery – we invite anyone who wishes to have unmarked graces recorded and entered into the database for the cemeteries. On the day we will also take information regarding the other cemeteries in the parish, Finnoe, Old Kilbarron and Church of Ireland, Coolbawn.
CONGRATULATIONS to Terryglass N.S. who won their county hurling final in Semple Stadium during the week. This victory completes a double of football and hurling titles this year. Well done all – a great achievement.
