Are there any green shoots?

Families and neighbours are quietly taking care of each other.  Couples and families are getting to know each other better.   We are no longer passing each other like ships in the night. Cyclists, walkers, runners, golfers and boaters all back.   Gardening is great therapy at this time,  lovely weather helped us cope.  Bird song noticed by nearly everyone.  Nature reflecting the presence of God – Our new capacity to slow down, to pause, to pray, to praise and to thank!

God in the silence, God in our thinking of each other’s safety.  So much has gone well.  So many uncertainties faced. “It is the best of times and it is the worst of times”.  “We can go on, we will go on”.
