SAFEGUARDING MONTH  The parish safegurding audits showed that childrens ministry in parishes is slowly returning, we actively encourage children to be involved in the Church and have procedures,  policies and forms to assist Parishes with this  Ministry. For any further guidance or assistance with restarting childrens ministry, Cleo and Joe will be more than happy to assist and can be contacted via the Diocesean office.

KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Our next talk will be held in Terryglass Hall on Fri May 13th at 8pm.  Lisa McGeeney will speak on ‘Women and Philanthropy in Lower Ormond in the 19th and early 20th century.

 

Shannon Rovers GAA Club would like to invite everyone in the community to Kilbarron Hall on Monday May 23rd at 8pm to offer their opinions and suggestions on how the club can provide a comprehensive programme of activities, games and social facilities within a safe and welcoming environment for all ages to participate in and enjoy.

 

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control.

 

May each one of us be open to these beautiful fruits of the Holy Spirit, especially on this weekend as we celebrate the wonderful Sacrament of Confirmation in our Parish.
