Today is Mission Sunday Missionaries are always in the frontline in countries that have water crises, poverty, hunger and disease.

We are reminded of the 1,000 Irish Missionaries who at this point in time of Covid 19 still serve in 70 countries.

On this Mission Sunday Pope Francis again appeals for your support by praying for missionaries and showing solidarity with the help of a mission donation. Many thanks for your continued support.  Donations through parish envelope or wmi.ie

World Mission Prayer

God our Father, we pray for those who are suffering, for those who are grieving, for those who are anxious, and for those who are working tirelessly to care for the sick. God our Father, your Son Jesus Christ came into our world to heal us from division and to bring us life in abundance. By the power of your Spirit help us to strive together as one family of many nations to help those in greatest need during this crisis. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Risen Lord.     Amen.     From a World Missions Ireland Prayer Card
