Volunteers for HERB BOX production
We are seeking volunteers to assist us in carrying out a ‘Herb Box’ project with school aged children. This educational and fun project will have a fundraising element to it. Saint Patrick’s Weekend in Terryglass- Bring your wellies & your flip-flops!
Saint Patrick’s Day in Terryglass has just got bigger and better. We have decided to celebrate our National Holiday over the course of a weekend, from Friday 15th– Monday 18th March.
Kicking off the festival we welcome the popular pop/rock band ‘HOT FUSS’ at 10pm. Free outdoor gig in the village green.
Saturday sees an action packed schedule of events to keep everyone busy such as Irish dancing workshops, Arts & Crafts for children and adults, Make your own Herb Box Workshop, Vintage Tea Party, Terryglass through the years Photographic display, Outdoor ceili and much more.
Sunday begins with our Traditional St. Patrick’s Day Mass at 9:30am, A charity fundraiser, Village Market, Parade, Treasure Hunt and we welcome the re launch of group ‘BEGINISH’ to the hall at 8:30pm. This group of talented and well known musicians are reforming for a nationwide tour and commence this tour in Terryglass. Tickets on sale from Derg Inn & Paddy’s Bar at €5 each.
