SYMPATHY
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Paddy Glynn, Lacken, Terryglass who died recently.

KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The next lecture by the Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society will be held on Saturday May 23rd at 8pm in Terryglass Hall. It will be on ‘The Book of Leinster’ and will be given by Dr. Mary Leenane of The Centre for Irish Cultural Heritage located in Maynooth University. The Book of Leinster is a medieval Irish manuscript that was written in the Twelfth-Century at Terryglass monastery and is one of the oldest surviving early Irish manuscripts that traces its history before the Norman conquest. The Book of Leinster is fundamentally the most important manuscript in early Irish literature and this is a wonderful opportunity to hear about it in the village that it was written. Free entry with donations welcomed.
