GOLF CLASSIC
In January 2018 local men, Gerry O’Meara, Ballinderry and Tommy Keane, Borrisokane will travel to Mombasa, Kenya to join the Ray of Sunshine Foundation to build a rescue home for boys used in the sex traffic industry. To help raise funds for the project a Golf Classic will be held in Nenagh Golf Club on Friday, September 8th with a Shot Gun start at 3pm. Teams of 4 cost €100, or you can sponsor a tee box for €50. NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY
The A.G.M. of North Tipp. Alzheimer Society will be held in our office at 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Monday 11th. September at 8pm. All are welcome – your attendance and support will be very much appreciated.
COFFEE MORNING
Bridie O’Meara and friends will host a coffee morning in Ballinderry on Thursday 14th September in aid of Milford Hospice from 10m to 4pm. All are welcome.
DRAMA GROUP AGM
As the evenings are starting to get darker its time to start planning for Kilbarron Drama Group’s 2018 production. Our AGM takes place on Tuesday, Sept 12th at 8.30pm in the Old School Hall, Kilbarron. If you would like to get involved in the group either on stage or as a helper back-stage, we would love to see you at the meeting. New faces always welcome.

FIRST COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION
Date for your diary – Meetings for parents and guardians of children in First Communion and Confirmation classes this year will take place in Borrisokane N.S. on Tuesday 19th Sept. – 7.30pm for 1st Communion parents and 8.30pm for Confirmation parents.
BALLINDERRY SPORTSFIELD LOTTO
The weekly Lotto goes to the continued upkeep and maintenance of the Pavilion and Sportsfield. We are asking that all parents, guardians and players over 18 years would contribute €2 per week to the Lotto, either to the officers of each club each week, or if you wish you may pay by ‘Top Up’ – yearly, 6 monthly or on a monthly basis. BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh, Ardcroney, Borrisokane, Ballinderry and Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
