ALZHEIMERS TEA DAY
The Alzheimer’s Tea Day will be held this Thursday 9th May and the organisers are inviting everyone to a ‘cup of tea and a chat’ in Aileen Cahalan’s, Curnamult, Terryglass, from 7pm onwards. Every euro raised at our party will go to the continuation of services in the North Tipperary area, to enable people to be cared for in their own homes for as long as possible. All welcome.

COMMUNITY ALERT
The ‘Tip of the Week’ is- ‘Identity Theft’. Bin dipping can occur especially in recycling bins and separated waste. Thieves rummage through bins pulling out bills and bank statements and other personal information, shred sensitive documents before throwing away. Delete your name and address. Do not share passwors or pin numbers. If your purse or wallet is stolen, there is a lot more potentially valuable information in there than just your credit and debit cards. Anything with an address on it can help to construct a false identity in your name. This can be used for anything from mobile phones to catalogue shopping.
