RECENT BEREAVEMENT
The death occurred on Thursday September 1st of Bríd Fox-Garvey, Dooradoyle, Limerick and formerly Brocka. Our deepest sympathy is extended to her husband Liam, his family Linda, Michael and Kelly, her mother Bridgie, sisters Nora and Mary, brothers Joe, Liam and Mike, their families and her many colleagues and friends. Funeral Mass for Bríd took place in Terryglass Church on Saturday September 3rd with burial in the adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.

KILBARRON AND TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY AGM
The Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society AGM has been set for Friday 16th September in the Pavillion, Ballinderry at 8pm. All paid up members are asked to attend as there will be a number of issues to vote upon and a new committee elected for the coming year. Names are welcomed to be nominated for any of the committee roles and all paid up members will have vote on the night.

BINGO
There is Bingoo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,500. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
