The death occurred on Thursday September 1st of Bríd Fox-Garvey, Dooradoyle, Limerick and formerly Brocka. Our deepest sympathy is extended to her husband Liam, his family Linda, Michael and Kelly, her mother Bridgie, sisters Nora and Mary, brothers Joe, Liam and Mike, their families and her many colleagues and friends. Funeral Mass for Bríd took place in Terryglass Church on Saturday September 3rd with burial in the adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.

The Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society AGM has been set for Friday 16th September in the Pavillion, Ballinderry at 8pm. All paid up members are asked to attend as there will be a number of issues to vote upon and a new committee elected for the coming year. There is Bingoo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,500.
