VINTAGE DAY IN TERRYGLASS
All roads lead to Terryglass this Sunday, September 13th whereThe Terryglass/Kilbarron Enterprise Group has teamed up with The Borrisokane and District Vintage Club in their annual Thrashing and Vintage show in Tierney’s field, Terryglass .This promises to be a great event with something for all the family. On the day there will be Birds of Prey,A working Blacksmith.A fantastic Dog Show, Mini Bungee, Handle making, High Nellies and Looking back to times past we will have The Threshing, Haymaking, Butter making, Old Tool Displays, Steam Engine Street Market ,Pottery, Basket work and loads more. COFFEE MORNING
Bridie O’Meara and friends are having the annual coffee morning in aid of Milford Hospice is on Thursday September 17th from 10am in Bridie O’Meara’s, Ballinderry. Please support this great cause and join us for tea, coffee, cakes and a chat. All are welcome.

U16 HURLING FINAL
Well done to Lorrha / Rovers Gaels who defeated Burgess last week in the North Tipp Section B U-16 Hurling Semi-final with a score of 5-11 to 2-9. We now play Borrisokane in the final on next Saturday 12th of September. Please check locally for the venue and time, then please come and support the lads in what should be a closely contested match between neighbouring rivals.

AGM
The AGM of the Kilbarron Group Water Scheme will take place in the Old School Hall, Kilbarron, on Monday September 14th at 8.30pm. We would invite a representative from each household on the Scheme to attend, as important decisions will be made at the meeting.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY AGM
The Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society will hold its annual AGM on Friday September 18th at 8pm in the Pavillion, Ballinderry. There will be a review of a very successful second year in existence and a discussion of upcoming topics and projects for 2016. All members are asked to attend as officials will be elected at the AGM for the coming year. New members are always welcome

USED CLOTHING COLLECTION
Start collecting your used clothing, shoes, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys (any condition once they are clean). Bags may be dropped to Kilbarron school any Friday from now on.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
