LOWER ORMOND ACTIVE RETIREMENT
Our next outing is on Monday 22nd. May to The Thatched Cottage at 1pm for a 3 course meal followed by an afternoon of music, song and dance with Seanie. Menu choice is Beef or Salmon, Trifle or Apple Crumble. The subsidized cost is €10, names to Jimmy 067 38237 or Loretta 086 3782623.

NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY
We will hold our Annual Tea Day in our Office at 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Wednesday 10th. May from 10am. – 2pm. This is our biggest fund-raiser of the year for the Alzheimer Society and we would appreciate as much support as possible. All monies raised will be spent locally, caring for people with Alzheimer’s/ Dementia by professional carers, in their own homes for as long as possible. All are welcome for a chat and a “cuppa”.

SYMPATHY
Our deepest sympathy is extended to Paul McMahon and family, Coolbawn on the recent death of his father Peter McMahon, Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan. May he rest in peace.

CHURCH NEWS
Congratulations and best wishes to the children who received their First Holy Communion in Terryglass Church last Sunday – Emily Stapleton, John Coonan ,Isaac O’Sullivan.
Baptism
We welcome Tadhg Andrew Deasy into our Christian Community. Tadhg who is son of Andrew and Meave Deasy was baptised in Terryglass Church.
TRÓCAIRE LENTEN CAMPAIGN 2017 – LAST CALL
Please return your Trócaire boxes to the Churches in the next week as all donations will be forwarded to Trocaire on May 15th.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh, Ardcroney, Borrisokane, Ballinderry and Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
