CAMOGIE CLUB CALENDER LAUNCH
The Shannon Rovers camogie club had a very successful launch of their Club calendar on Saturday evening 7th November in the pavilion in Ballinderry. The calendar, which costs €10 is now available from The Derg shop in Terryglass, Hannigans in Kilbarron or contact Maria Hogan or Grainne Fogarty.

THE KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Society invites everyone to The ‘Night’ of the Round Table in Hannigans, Kilbarron on this Friday, November 13th from 8pm. This will be an evening of memories, parish history, folklore, traditions, times past, parish achievements and much more. Everyone is welcome to come along and share their stories and memories of growing up in the parish. It is this oral history which is an invaluable part of the heritage of the parish which should be captured for future generations to benefit from.

CHURCH NEWS
REMEMBRANCE MASS FOR THE HOLY SOULS
This year’s Remembrance Mass will be celebrated in Kilbarron Church on Saturday 21st November at 7.30pm. We will remember all those who have died in our Parish since last November . If you would like a family member or friend who died elsewhere during the year to be remembered on the night please submit their names in advance. Candles will be supplied for your loved ones and there will be an opportunity during Mass to bring the candles to the altar. Please note change of Mass . Terryglass will be at 10am on Sunday 22nd.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to help count the weekly basket collections in Kilbarron after 10am Mass on Sundays. Please contact Declan Tiernan if you are available.

NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY.
There will be a meeting of our Support Group in our Office a 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Thursday 19th. November at 11am. Families and/or Carers of people with Dementia/Alzheimers are invited to come along and receive information and support and also meet other carers and have a chat and a “cuppa”. MARKETING SEMINAR
Terryglass/Kilbarron Enterprise Group are holding a Free Marketing Seminar in The Derg Inn, Terryglass this Thursday the 12th of November at 8pm. Come along to find how even the most simplest marketing can work for your business. Free to attend with everybody welcome.

CHRISTMAS WISHES TREE
For the past few years we have had a lovely Christmas Tree in the car park of Kilbarron village. This year we intend to add a little extra colour by inviting people to write a note, a joke or a quote on a Wish Card, then tie it onto the tree and watch the wishes float. We plan to have 2 workshops in late November where people can come and write their cards, and have them ready for December 6th when we will have the official ‘turning on’ of lights on the tree. FAMILY CARERS SUPPORT GROUP
Are You A Family Carer and Would Like Some support with any aspect of your caring role ?
Why not join us in the Pastoral Centre, Church Road, Nenagh , on the last Wednesday of every month from 10.30am to 12.30 pm. Next meeting is on November 25th . Here you have the opportunity to meet with other carers, share experiences and information, gain support and receive relevant and beneficial information. Learn more about your rights and entitlements and get a well-deserved break in a relaxing atmosphere. BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
