COMMUNITY ALERT
Can we all continue to keep an eye on our elderly neighbours during the bad weather and enquire if there is anything they need.
The Tip of the Week is – Fire Safety. Last thing at night ensure that fires are well down and spark guards in place in front of open fires. Do not leave the TV, radio or music centre on stand-by. Plug out your mobile phone charger when your phone is charged, when going out or going to bed. Check all rooms and ensure all doors are closed when going to bed. Empty ashtrays properly and ensure candles are extinguished before going to bed and finally switch off and unplug the electric blanket.
