THE KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Society invites everyone to The ‘Night’ of the Round Table in Hannigans, Kilbarron on Friday, November 13th from 8pm. This will be an evening of memories, parish history, folklore, traditions, times past, parish achievements and much more. Everyone is welcome to come along and share their stories and memories of growing up in the parish. It is this oral history which is an invaluable part of the heritage of the parish which should be captured for future generations to benefit from.

CEMETERY SUNDAY IN OUR PARISH : SUNDAY 1st NOVEMBER
Blessing of the graves will take place as follows – Kilbarron New Cemetery after 10am Mass and Kilbarron Old Cemetery immediately afterwards. Terryglass New Cemetery at 2pm and Terryglass Old Cemetery immediately afterwards. FinnoeCemetery : at 3pm.
NEW ROTAS – for Eucharistic Ministers, Readers and Prayers of the Faithful in Kilbarron Church are available for collection in the Sacristy
SPORTSFIELD AGM
The BallinderrySportsfield AGM will take place in the pavilion at 8.00pm on Friday 30th October. All are welcome.

USED CLOTHING COLLECTION
Start collecting your used clothing, shoes, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys (any condition once they are clean). Bags may be dropped to Kilbarron school any Friday from now on.
BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
