Shannon Rovers Hurling Club has pleasure inviting the surviving members and the families of the deceased members, to a reunion of the 1947-48 U/15 North and County Hurling Champions. in the Pavilion, Ballinderry, on Saturday 26th July at 4pm. We are hoping that family members of the team listed below will join us to honour this team. As young teenagers in the late 1940’s for many of the team life was hard, most of them walked several miles to school and to training sessions in Pat Cahalan’s field.
