VINTAGE DAY IN TERRYGLASS
Well done to the members of the Terryglass/Kilbarron Enterprise Group and The Borrisokane and District Vintage Club who organised the Thrashing and Vintage show in Tierney’s field, Terryglass last Sunday. The weather was against them, but those who attended during the miserably wet afternoon were treated to displays which included Birds of Prey, a working Blacksmith. and a fantastic Dog Show. The day also enabled many local small businesses and food producers to show-case their products and it was great to see so many stalls and entrepreneurs in the Enterprise Marquee. Please support these local crafters when you are looking for unique and handmade gifts.

HOSPICE COFFEE MORNINGS
Bridie O’Meara and friends are having the annual coffee morning in aid of Milford Hospice is on Thursday September 17th from 10am in Bridie O’Meara’s, Ballinderry. Please support this great cause and join us for tea, coffee, cakes and a chat. All are welcome.
There will also be a Coffee Morning in Paddy’s Bar next Thursday morning 17th September at 9.30am for North Tipperary Hospice. All are welcome

U16 HURLING FINAL
The re-scheduled North Tipp Section B U-16 Hurling Final will now take place on next Saturday, Sept 19th in Toomevara at 2pm. Our Lorrha/Rovers Gaels take on Borrisokane, so please come and support the lads in what should be a closely contested match between neighbouring rivals.

U12 CAMOGIE FINAL
Well done to our U12 camogie team who fought a tough battle against Silvermines in the Ragg last Saturday, winning by one point and earning their place in the County Final. They now take on Knockavilla in the Ragg on next Saturday, September 19th. Time to be comfirmed, so please check locally and then come along to support the girls.

BORRISOKANE MEET & TRAIN
Meeting every Monday 7-8pm in front of Borrisokane Community College. New members welcome – €5 pay as you go! All abilities catered for.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY AGM
The Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society will hold its annual AGM on Friday September 18th at 8pm in the Pavillion, Ballinderry. There will be a review of a very successful second year in existence and a discussion of upcoming topics and projects for 2016. All members are asked to attend as officials will be elected at the AGM for the coming year. New members are always welcome

USED CLOTHING COLLECTION
Start collecting your used clothing, shoes, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys (any condition once they are clean). Bags may be dropped to Kilbarron school any Friday from now on.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
