KILBARRON TIDY TOWNS
The work evenings will begin next Wed. May 17th at 7.30. Everyone welcome and all help is appreciated. A lot of work has been carried out in and around the village in the past few years and as a result we have seen great results in the Tidy Towns competitions. A little work each week will maintain the current the appearance of the village and help with the future improvement plans.

SHANNON ROVERS CAMOGIE SUCCESS
Congratulations and well done to our u14 girls who beat Cahir in the County B Final in the Ragg last Wednesday. With a fantastic winning score of 5-03 to 1-03, the Shannon Rovers girls have secured their place as one of the three teams to represent Tipperary at this year’s Feile. The team will travel to various locations in Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford for Feile which takes place on June 16th to 18th, and we wish them continued success in this competition.

LOWER ORMOND ACTIVE RETIREMENT
Our next outing is on Monday 22nd. May to The Thatched Cottage at 1pm for a 3 course meal followed by an afternoon of music, song and dance with Seanie. Menu choice is Beef or Salmon, Trifle or Apple Crumble. The subsidized cost is €10, names to Jimmy 067 38237 or Loretta 086 3782623.

SYMPATHY

Our deepest sympathy is extended to Mary Moore-Ryan, Ballyscanlon on the recent death of her mother, Kathleen Moore, Borrisokane. May she rest in peace.

CHURCH NEWS
CONFIRMATION Please pray for the children from our parish who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop Fintan next Sunday, May 21st at 11am Mass in Kilbarron Church.
MASS TIMES CHANGES NEXT WEEK-END Terryglass : Saturday May 20th at 8pm. Kilbarron Church : Sunday May 21st at 11am – Confirmation.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh, Ardcroney, Borrisokane, Ballinderry and Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
