KILBARRON/TERRYGLASS COMMUNITY ALERT
We are holding a meeting in Kilbarron Hall on Thursday 19th Jan at 8pm due to the increase in crime over the recent months. Local Garda will be in attendance. In the interest of our community we would urge as many as possible to attend.

BALLINDERRY SPORTSFIELD
Please note that adjourned AGM of Ballinderry Sportsfield will take place at 8.00 p.m., on Thursday 19th January. The Election of officers will take place that night. We would invite all members of the community to come to meeting, to ensure that we can continue to successfully run our parish sportsfield and buildings within that facility.

SHANNON ROVERS JUVENILE CLUB
The adjourned AGM takes place this Friday night 20th Jan in the Pavillion, Ballinderry at 8pm sharp. All are welcome – a good turnout would be great.

KILBARRON DRAMA GROUP
A meeting will be held in the Old School Hall, Kilbarron on Wednesday Jan 18th at 9pm to discuss this year production with our new director, Lisa McGeeney. If you would like to get involved in the drama group, either on stage or behind the scenes, you are more than welcome to come along to the meeting or please phone Margaret at 087 2772545 for more details.

NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY
There will be a meeting of our Support Group in our Office at 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Wednesday 25th. January at 11am. Families and/or cares of people with Dementia/Alzheimer’s are invited to come along and receive information and support and also meet other carers, have a chat and a “cuppa”. The meeting will include a short talk and information on the “Fair Deal” scheme. This meeting is not for Dementia/Alzheimer’s sufferers – it is strictly for families and/or carers only. USED CLOTHING COLLECTION
For anyone who missed out on the recent used clothing collection, there is one more collection on February 10th. So if you are thinking about spring cleaning, we would appreciate your used clothing, shoes, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys (any condition once they are clean). Bags may be dropped to Kilbarron school any day from now on.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,500. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
