KILBARRON/TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The next meeting of the Kilbarron/Terryglass Historical Society is scheduled for this Friday, 21st February, at 7.30pm in the Pavilion Sportsfield, Ballinderry. A general topic of discussion on the night will be ‘The History and Legend of Ballinderry Mill’. All are welcome to come along to listen and contribute to the discussion.

ENROLMENT FOR KILBARRON NS
Enrolling of new pupils for the school year 2014/15 will take place in Kilbarron NS on Monday 3rd March from 7-7.30pm. Please contact the school on 067 28144 for further details.

ENROLMENT FOR TERRYGLASS NS
Enrolment of pupils wishing to start Terryglass NS in September 2014 is now taking place. Please contact the Principal, Noreen, Sheridan, on 067 22269 before Friday 14th March.

The Tip of the Week is –Beware of companies and individuals purporting to inform you of having won prizes etc., do not divulge personal details or forward money until authenticity of caller is verified. Be conscious when answering the door, if your caller has a genuine reason for being there, or are simply distracting the person answering the door. If in doubt be firm and keep the door locked and if you are ever in any doubt contact the Garda.

KILBARRON OPERATION TRANSFORMATION
Kilbarron Operation Transformation continues each Tuesday night with circuit training in Kilbarron Hall on Tuesdays at 7.45pm. New members welcome.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100.
Buses are available from the surrounding area,i.e.Nenagh/Ardcroney/Borrisokane/Ballinderry and Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/Terryglass. Buses depart at 7pm and for further information contact Ken Daly 087 6273177 or 067 21988.
