TERRYGLASS ARTS FESTIVAL MEETING on Tues. Nov 25th at 8pm in Terryglass Hall. All welcome, we would love to see more people getting involved in whatever capacity – big or small.

KILBARRON DRAMA GROUP
Meeting in the Old School Hall, Kilbarron on Monday Nov 24th at 9pm. We are now planning next year’s production and we would welcome anyone who would like to get involved. Help is always needed backstage.

ARTISTS WANTED
Borrisokane Community Forum are planning an Art Exhibition – in The Old Church, Borrisokane on Sunday 30th Novmber from 2-6pm. Artists wanted to display their works, contact Miriam 086-8941626 for more details.

CHRISTMAS MARKET
The Old Church, Borrisokane will be holding a Christmas market on Saturday 13th December from 2-6pm. Stall are €10 each, contact Pamela 087-7523568 or Miriam 086-8941626 to book yours.

CAMOGIE NOTES:
Meeting – The Camogie Club AGM will take place on his coming Saturday night, November 22nd at 8pm in Ballinderry. We invite all interested in the club to come to this meeting to review the past year and to help plan for the coming season. Please note you will not get a job or a position unless you wish to. Once again we have had a very successful year but as always we are open to new members and ideas to progress the club into the future.
Win a Holiday – The camogie club are currently selling lines at € 2.00 each with a 1st prize of a Holiday or €1200.00. Cards must be back by next weekend so please contact any camogie club member if you wish to be included in this fantastic draw.

BALLYCOMMON PLAY – Please support Puckane & Carrig Drama Group, who are performing Kevin’s Bed by Bernard Farrell, directed by Michael O’Meara, in Muintir Na Tire Hall, Ballycommon on 28th, 29th & 30th November nightly at 8.30pm. Tickets can be booked by contacting John at (087) 6375839.

SET DANCING FOR BEGINNERS on Tuesday nights in Hannigans from 9 to 10pm. Another great way to improve your fitness, so come along and enjoy the craic.

OPERATION TRANSFORMATION
Operation Transformation continues in Kilbarron with Boxercise classes in Kilbarron Hall on Tuesday nights from 8-9pm. The weekly ‘Weigh-in’ at Hannigan’s is on Wednesday nights at 9pm. So why not come along and join the fun while losing those extra lbs and getting fitter..

TERRYGLASS CEMETERY
AGM on Thursday 20th Nov at 8pm in Terryglass Hall. The Committee wish to thank all those how have paid the annual fees to date. The Committee asks that any outstanding fees for 2014 be submitted in advance of the AGM to the Treasurer, John Mulvihill, Terryglass (Tel No 087 2185833)

Subscriptions are now due and may be given to Christy Cormican or Mike Molamphy. Many thanks to Colum Hardy for his excellent work in documenting the headstones in the burial ground. Details may be found on www.historicgraves.com

CHURCH NEWS
November Station Masses: Terryglass – Saturday November 22nd at 7.30pm
Kilbarron – Sunday November 23rd at 10am. During the Station Masses we will give thanks for the harvest and for the blessings that we receive.
The Cry of the Earth – A Pastoral Reflection on Climate Change, in the Pastoral Centre, Nenagh on Thurs Nov 20th 8 – 9.15pm. The Church is conscious of the responsibility which all of us have for our world and for the whole of creation. Four workshops will be held – Reconnecting with the Sacredness of the Earth, Stewards of Creation, Who is under our Carbon Footprint, What can we do? – Spirituality in action. Presenters: Maureen Kelly, Diocesan Pastoral Worker and Hannah Evans, Trócaire.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION 2015
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered by Fr. Michael in Terryglass Church on Sunday May 24th at 11am. First Holy Communion takes place as follows: Terryglass – Sunday May 10th at 11am. Kilbarron – Sunday May 17th at 11am.

BAPTISM – We welcome Jack Patrick Keane into our Christian community. Jack is the son of Pat and Lorraine Keane, Frolic Lane, Carney.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,800. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/Ballinderry and Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
