PANTO SUCCESS IN KILBARRON
Well done to everyone who helped to bring Cinderella to life in Kilbarron this winter. Declan Dunne and the Kilbarron Hall Committee deserve the credit for coming up with the crazy idea of putting on a Panto, finding the perfect director in Phil Quigley and collecting such a talented cast. From the very young children who opened the show, the teenagers who sang and danced so well, Shane (Palace Security), Christina (Buttons) and Amy (Mouse), John (Dandini), Paula (Cinderella) and Andrew (her Prince Charming) – ye were all fantastic. I don’t think there are words to describe the performances of Joe and Andrew as Cheryl and Beryl the ugly sisters, along with the wicked step-mother Declan and the sparkling Fairy Godmother – James. It is fair to say that everyone who attended the three packed houses to see this show are still talking and laughing about it. We are looking forward to next year’s production already.
