HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIDDY

WEDDING
Congratulations to Michelle Rooney, Roran, Terryglass and Shane Molloy, Borrisokane who were
married in Terryglass recently. We wish the happy couple a long and happy life together.

BALLINDERRY SPORTSFIELD FUNDRAISING DRAW
Ballinderry Sportsfield will be holding a confined draw on Saturday July 30th. The purpose of the draw is to clear the Sportsfield’s development loan. The draw will be limited to 250 tickets which are currently on sale for €100. The prize fund is €5000 with a first prize of €3000 and another four prizes of €500 to be won. The Sportsfield has served the parish withy facilities for 45 years. The field and dressing rooms are used by four separate sporting bodies and serves over 250 players. The meeting room is used by another five community groups in addition to our sports clubs. Your support would be greatly appreciated and will serve to ensure the maintenance of these facilities.

LOWER ORMOND RETIREMENT
Our next outing is on Monday 8th August at 1pm for a meal in The Thatched Cottage, followed by an afternoon of music song and dance with Seanie. TERRYGLASS CEMETERY

RECENT BAPTISMS
We welcome Alan Michael Keane and Lucy Saoirse Gorman into our Christian Community. Alan is son of Pat and Lorraine Keane, Frolic, Carney and was baptized in Kilbarron Church. Lucy is daughter of Liam and Claire Gorman, Macloon and was baptized in Terryglass Church.

VINTAGE SILAGE SHOW
Vintage Silage Show, family fun day in aid of Tipperary Living Links, (suicide bereavement support group) on Sunday 24th July at 2.00pm on the farm of Pat Cleary between Nenagh and Ardcroney, Lahorna ball alley. Adults €10, children free.

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul
Collection: The conference would like to thank most sincerely all who contributed so generously to our one-day street collection. A special thanks to all who gave of their time at the collection points and to shop keepers who allowed us to collect at their premises. The collection raised €3250.

Volunteering: Have a few hours to give to our charity and its work — we welcome you on board. Our three areas (Clothes Shop, Furniture Shop, Order Fulfillment Centre) have two shifts in a day (10.00am to 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.00pm). Enquiries – contact the above numbers. Garda Vetting will be a requirement.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,500. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
