SHANNON RANGERS SUCCESS
Well done to Shannon Rangers FC who had a fantastic 4 – 1 victory over Gurtagarry in the Fast Food Cup Final which was played in Ballymackey last Saturday. Congratulations to the players, team management and all involved in bringing the silverware to the parish.

TERRYGLASS IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATION
The lauch of the “Terryglass Village Walking Trail” and the Terryglass Tidy Towns Facebook page took place in Terryglass Hall on Friday evening last. Thanks to everyone who came along to make this a very successful evening. The brochures of the walking trail are now available in the local pubs and shop. RELAY FOR LIFE
Relay for Life is a 24 hour event that brings the whole community together to Celebrate the lives of cancer survivors, to Remember those whom we have lost to the disease and to Fight Back by increasing our knowledge of cancer and by raising money to fund vital research and services of the Irish Cancer Society. At Relay, teams of family members and friends commit to having at least one member of their team walking around the track at all times. While they are doing that, a festival of fun, entertainment and community takes place which unites everybody in the fight against cancer. Would you like to be a member of the Kilbarron Red Devils team at this year’s Relay in Toomevara on Sat 15th and Sun 16th August? CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
The Irish Cancer Society will hold its annual Church gate collection at both Masses in the Parish next weekend – Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of April. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

ART EXHIBITION
Portumna library is hosting a children’s art exhibition of creations by the students of Ute Duggan “Bramble Art” from April 18th – 29th. All welcome.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
