RELAY FOR LIFE
Thank you so much to all who helped out at the bag packing last week. With almost €1100 raised, all money will be shared between the Carer’s Association of Ireland and our Relay for Life team fund. Candles of Hope are now available locally, costing just €5 each. If you would like to light a candle in memory a loved one who has died or celebrate the life of someone who has survived cancer please contact Marcella on 087 6879502.

NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY
There will be a meeting of our Support Group in our Office at 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Wednesday 5th. August from 2 – 3pm. Families and/or Carers of people with Dementia/Alzheimers are invited to come along and receive information and support and also meet other carers and have a chat and a “cuppa”. Are you available to volunteer a few hours at the Terryglass Arts Festival 12- 16th August 2015? WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE! Programme of events for the Arts Festival are now available locally, with lots of great workshops and entertainment planned. Make sure to book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
SCRABBLE EVENINGS
Tuesday evenings 8pm – 10pm at Cottage Garden Craftworks, The Old Forge, Ballinderry, Nenagh. Everyone is welcome, young or not so young, local or tourist, beginner or advanced. It’s FREE to join in, just turn up. Refreshments available.
BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
