TERRYGLASS WEDDING
Congratulations to Philip Tierney and Jacqueline Sullivan, Killeen who were married recently in Terryglass Church. We wish them both a long and happy future together.

CINDERELLA GOES TO LORRHA
Following a hugely successful production in Kilbarron, the cast and crew are taking Cinderella the Panto to Lorrha for one night only, on Friday January 29th. Doors open at 7pm with curtains up at 8pm. A night not to be missed, so come along early to enjoy a night of music and mayhem.

KILBARRON TIDY TOWNS
The next meeting of our Tidy Towns group will take place in Kilbarron Small Hall on Monday February 1st at 8pm. All are welcome as we plan for the coming year and work to improve on the fantastic results achieved in 2015.

LOWER ORMOND RETIREMENT
Our first outing of 2016 is on Monday 8th Feb. to The Thatched Cottage for a three course meal at 1pm followed by an afternoon of music, song and dance with Seanie. SHANNON RANGERS FUNDRAISER
Brendan Grace will be performing in Coolbawn Quay on Thursday, March 10th at 8pm. Tickets are €30 and can be purchased in all local pubs and shops or from the following committee members – Timmy 087 8120841, Rossi – 087 7423990, Damian 087 7640779.

KILBARRON / TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society in conjunction with Dr. Mary Leenane of Maynooth University are planning to run a workshop on’An Introduction to Celtic Calligraphy’ . The workshop is on Saturday 13th February in Terryglass Hall (2hrs in the morning and 2hrs after lunch). The workshop with dinner tea/coffee is €20. There are currently four places remaining. Please contact a member of the committee or Society to book a place.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
