DEATH OF GERALDINE CLARKE
News of the death on March 24th of the young mum of 3 from Ryehill, Ballinderry was met with deep sadness. Sincerest sympathy is extended to her husband Noel, children Kieran, Shauna and Grace, her parents Seamus and Vina Horan, sister Colette, brothers Brendan, Andrew and Damien, her parents-in-law Leslie and Ann Clarke, relatives and many friends. Geraldine’s funeral Mass was celebrated in Terryglass on Easter Sunday, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.

BIRTHDAY WISHES
Happy birthday to Clare Corrigan, Kilbarron who recently celebrated the ‘big 50’ with a party for family and friends in Hannigans. A great night was had by all.

CHURCH NEWS
Mass Times change –
From this weekend, April 2nd / 3rd Masses will be as follows- Kilbarron on Saturday at 8pm and Terryglass on Sunday at 10am. All evening Masses during Summertime will be at 8pm.
First Friday – on April 1st. NO morning Mass in Kilbarron. 8pm Mass in Terryglass.

KILBARRON DRAMA GROUP
Due to the cancellation of our play on Good Friday, the Drama Group will put on this year’s production of ‘Happy Birthday Dear Alice’ at 8pm on Sunday April 3rd. Doors open at 7.30pm. This two act comedy is not to be missed.

KILBARRON N.S. USED CLOTHING COLLECTION
The Parent’s Association of Kilbarron N.S. is organizing a clothing collection as part of this year’s fundraising events. They are looking for your used clothing, shoes, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys (any condition once they are clean). Bags may be dropped to the school any Friday or if you need collection please contact Siobhan at 087 6986054..

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
