KILBARRON CHURCH 200
There will be a meeting to discuss appropriate ways to mark the bi-centenary of Kilbarron Church in 2014, on this Wednesday 31st July in the Old School Hall at 8.30pm. All are welcome

KILBARRON AND TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY

TERRYGLASS ARTS FESTIVAL
This year’s Terryglass Arts Festival will run from Wednesday 14th August until Sunday 18th and includes traditional favourites such as entertainment at Terryglass Quay on Saturday night with street performers ‘Streetwise’ and the annual monster fireworks display. On Sunday afternoon it is Family Fun Day with numerous events to view and enjoy, including ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears enacted by Miriam Lambert puppets in the Festival Marquee, with Peek and Boo her signature characters to launch the performance.
A special treat for all age groups, not to be missed, is the Irish premier of ‘Travelling Circus’ from Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre, amazing kinetic sculptures creating a magical theatrical performance, whirring, clicking, buzzing and clacking into action to tell their story. Direct from Glasgow the exhibition runs in Terryglass Hall daily from 15-18 August, every half hour, tickets available from the box office.
