LOWER ORMOND ACTIVE RETIREMENT
Our next outing is on Monday 13th. February to The Thatched Cottage for a 3 course meal, followed by an afternoon of music, song and dance with Seanie. Menu choice is beef, turkey or salmon and dessert trifle or bread and butter pudding. The subsidized cost is €10, names to Jimmy Donnelly or Loretta Tiernan.

SHANNON ROVERS CAMOGIE CLUB
We will hold an auction on Sunday March 12that 2pm in Kilbarron to raise funds to help run the club. We are asking for help in this fundraising initiative. A cake sale and lucky dip draw will also take place throughout the day. We are looking for your ideas and your help, and remember that many hands make light work! We would like to be able to auction short term services (2 to 3 hours) for painting, plumbing, car servicing etc. along with trailer loads of turf and timber. Also if anyone wants to donate trees, trailer loads of timber or turf etc, please contact Ger Leenane 087 6682475, John Cahalan 087 2869269 or any member of the camogie club.

CHURCH NEWS
THANK YOU for your very generous Crib donations during the Christmas season. The total amount of €530 has been sent to the local branch of St. Vincent de Paul.
Wednesday, February 1st – FEAST OF ST. BRIGID – renowned for her hospitality, almsgiving and care of the sick.
Friday 3rd February = 1st Friday and the Feast of St. Balize
Masses ; Kilbarron 9am Terryglass – 7.30pm preceeded by Adoration ; 6.30pm. Benediction : 7.20pm. Confessions available before both Masses.
Candles will be blessed at Masses on Wednesday night in Kilbarron and Thursday morning in Terryglass. Candles for Altar use or donations for same will be very welcome. Extra candles will be available to take home if anyone wishes to do so. Blessing of throats will take place at both Masses on Friday.

COMEDY IN AGLISH
Due to popular demand there will be one extra performance of the comedy ‘For Better, For Worse’ by Jimmy Keary in Aglish Hall on Friday 3rd Feb. Booking essential – 087 7168591. Doors open at 7.30. Curtains up at 8pm sharp..

KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The next planned event of the Kilbarron Terryglass Historical Society will be a Walking Tour of Nenagh given by Kevin Whelan. It is preliminary scheduled for Sunday February 12th at 3pm. The tour will last c. 90mins and cost €4 each. More details to follow closer to the event.

SOCIABLE LADIES
The Aglish Sociable Ladies Club presents Kundalini Yoga – Detox and Destress with Ana Alves-Smyth. The 6 week course will start on Saturday February 18th at 10am in Aglish Hall. USED CLOTHING COLLECTION
For anyone who missed out on the recent used clothing collection, there is one more collection on February 10th. So if you are thinking about spring cleaning, we would appreciate your used clothing, shoes, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys (any condition once they are clean). Bags may be dropped to Kilbarron school any day from now on.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh, Ardcroney, Borrisokane, Ballinderry andBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
