TERRYGLASS/KILBARRON ENTERPRISE GROUP
At a recent Terryglass/Kilbarron Enterprise Group meeting new officers were elected as follows: Chairman-Padraig Moran, Secretary-Mary O Halloran, Treasurer-Sean Gleeson and PRO-Barry Cahalan. The Group is open to everybody with interests in Tourism/Hospitality, Services, Food Production, Crafts, Heritage and the Community etc. Our next meeting is on Thursday 2nd of July at 830pm in the pavilion at Ballinderry Sportsfield with everybody welcome to attend. SHANNON ROVERS CAMOGIE
The club would like to create a Club calendar to mark its 25th year. We are organising a photo shoot in the field on Sunday 5th July at 12 noon for players/mentors involved with teams in the 50s,60s,70s & also the 2006 team. FEIS CEOIL SUCCESS
Congratulations to Liam Tierney, Firmount who recently won his first ever Button Accordion title at u10 level in Ferbane Feis Ceoil and was also placed 4th in the u12 competition. Liam is a member of Ballycommon CCE, and plays with the other local musicians at the weekly trad sessions in Terryglass.

BALLINDERRY SPORTS FIELD
The Annual Shannon Rovers Golf Classic will take place on Friday 10th July at Nenagh Golf Club. This year’s classic is a fundraiser for Ballinderry Sportsfield. This year’s Golf Classic is an 18 hole champagne scramble with prizes of over €2,000 on offer. Entry fee is €100 per team of four. Maximum handicap for this competition is Ladies 30 and Gents 20. Tee times are filling up quickly. In order to avoid disappointment please contact Declan on 087-4162651 to book your team’s tee time. Sponsorship for tee boxes would be greatly appreciated and can be given to any field committee member.

LOWER ORMOND ACTIVE RETIREMENT
Our next outing is on Monday 13th July to Galway. The coach will leave Borrisokane at 10.30am, stopping in the city for some shopping. A three course meal in The Galleon, Salthill at approx. 2pm, followed by the afternoon in Salthill. The subsidized cost is €10, names to Jimmy Donnelly 067 38237 or Loretta Tiernan 28066

CHURCH NEWS
CEMETERY MASSES –
Terryglass – Sunday July 5th at 10am. Kilbarron – Saturday July 11th at 8pm.
Please contact families outside the parish who have relatives buried here.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION is now taking place each Wednesday in Kilbarron
Church from 10am to 3pm, and 7pm to 8pm. While people have put down their names for each hour – all parishioners are welcome to drop in at any time during these hours to say a quiet prayer.
FIRST FRIDAY on July 3rd = 1ST FRIDAY. MASSES : Kilbarron – 9am
Terryglass – 8pm preceeded by Adoration : 7pm. Benediction : 7.50pm
Confessions will be available before both Masses.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
