CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK 21st – 27th January. This year’s theme is ‘Communities of Service”. During this week we hope to give some time to reflect on our school as communities of service.  Families, parishes, and schools are invited to participate in a week of celebration of Catholic schools reflecting on their contribution to the common good of society.

COMMUNITY TEXT ALERT  Due to the recent burglaries in our Parish, the Text Alert has been re-activated.  People wishing to receive the text alert can do so by contacting Margaret Dunne on 087 7513422 or Cora Coen on 086 3207844.  Cost is €10 per year.

 

BORRISOKANE PLAYERS present ‘The Lost Weekend’ a two act comedy, Jan. 26th, 27th. 28th 8.30pm in the Clarke Memorial Hall.

 

SILVER ARCH FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE are delighted to offer their 4 Week Easy Exercise Programme in Tyone Community Centre, starting on Tues 23rd January from 2pm to 3pm, for €10 this 4 week programme is aimed at people wanting to learn to improve and maintain mobility, balance and fitness.   Healthy Food Made Easy is also starting back on Tues 6th February in Tyone Community Centre from 10:30am to 1pm for 6 Weeks.  This is a free Programme where you can learn about food and nutrition and get useful tips & ideas for meals. Booking is essential as spaces are limited – contact reception at 067-31800.
