SYMPATHY
The death occurred on Saturday, 28th November of Michael Cahalan, Drominagh. Sincere sympathy is extended to his son Paul, relatives and many friends.

TERRYGLASS PRODUCE AND CRAFT MARKET
The Christmas Fair takes place on Sunday, December 13th in The Derg Inn, Terryglass starting 11am. Please come along and support your local crafters and pick up a selection of original, hand-made Christmas gifts.

WEDDING
Congratulations to Laura Egan, Terryglass and Michael Hennessy, Limerick who were married in Terryglass recently. We wish them a long and happy future together.

LOWER ORMOND ACTIVE RETIREMENT
Our Christmas Party will take place on Monday 14th December in The Thatched Cottage at 1pm. Followed by an afternoon of music, song and dance with Seanie. THE KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Next meeting of society will be the adjourned AGM in Hannigans on Sunday 13th December 2015 at 4.00pm to elect a chairperson and vice chairperson. Hoping all members will attend – outstanding membership can be paid on the evening and at 4.30pm the fun will begin with our Christmas get together and quiz which is open to everyone – €2 donation at door.
We have commenced the process of compiling an annual Historical Society Journal. It is planned to have the first edition published for St. Patricks Day 2016. The Society are seeking contributions of articles, stories, photographs, memories, recipes, superstitions, sayings, folklore etc which people would like to be considered for the Journal. A large number of suggested topics has already been proposed and anything which is forwarded and doesn’t make the final copy will be held on file for future journal consideration. Anyone that has something that they wish to contribute can pass on to any member of the committee or email to the address below. The society has set up a designated email for all contributions: ktjournal9@gmail.com

NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY.
There will be a meeting of our Support Group in our Office at 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Monday 14th. December at 11am. Families and/or carers of people with Dementia/Alzheimers are invited to come along and receive information and support and also meet other carers, have a chat and a “cuppa”. CHURCH NEWS
THE CHRISTMAS RECONCILIATION SERVICE takes place on Mon. 21st Dec.at 8pm in St Peter & Paul’s Church, Borrisokane. It will be led by newly ordained native of Birr Fr Michael Geraghty and as usual a number of priests will be available for confession All choirs invited to join us as we will also be marking the year of Mercy with the singing of the Mercy hymn.
KILBARRON OLD CEMETERY
Subscriptions for maintenance of Kilbarron Old Cemetery are now due and can be paid to Christy Cormican or Mike Molamphy.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
