COME COOK WITH US – A GREAT SUCCESS
Ballinderry Sportsfield Committee would like to thank everyone who supported our ‘COME COOK WITH US’ event in Coolbawn Quay on Friday, February 6th. The fabulous venue was full to capacity and a great night’s entertainment was had by all. Our local ‘celebrity’ chefs – Jeanette, Midge, Monnie, Jerry, Margaret, Joe, Louise and Paddy worked hard under the instructions of TV3 chef Joe Shannon, while comedian Frank Forde entertained the audience. After all the votes were counted, the top chef ‘apron’ awards went to the Paddy’s Bar sponsored team of Monnie Hogan and Jerry O’Meara.
A special word of thanks goes to our sponsors – Cáis na Tíre cheese, McDermotts Pharmacy, The Derg and Paddy’s Bar, and to all those who provided raffle prizes.
