FUNDRAISER FOR CRUMLIN CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
There will be a ‘Fun Baking Morning for Kids’ in aid of Crumlin Children’s Hospital on Saturday 1st December from 10am until 1pm in Ballinderry. Join our expert local bakers for a fun morning of baking and decorating. Only €5 per child, booking is essential to Helen 087 2163313.
Then from 2-5pm on Saturday 1st December a sale of cakes and good quality used toys. Please support by bringing along cakes and buns etc., and old toys in good saleable condition to Ballinderry Village Shop (at the cross roads). All proceeds from both events to Crumlin Children’s Hospital

2012 CHRISTMAS TREE OF REMEMBRANCE
If you would like to remember a loved one by making a donation to North Tipperary Hospice Movement, you can do so by placing a contribution in the special envelopes available in the local shops and pubs. A tree will be placed at the Court House, Nenagh, and will be lit at 4.30pm on Saturday 8th December. If you would like a light to shine for your loved one please put the name of the person or family you wish to be remembered on the envelope with your donation. KILBARRON DRAMA GROUP
It’s that time of year again and the Drama Group is planning its next production. We have decided to put on Martin McDonagh’s “The Cripple of Inishmaan” and hope to be on stage mid to end of March 2013. Reading and casting will take place in the next few weeks. The Drama Group is always looking for new members. LADIES CHRISTMAS NIGHT OUT

SHANNON RANGERS FC
Last weekend was another up and down weekend results wise for the club, on Saturday the u/13’s were at home to Nenagh but lost 3-2, with two goals from Adam Slattery, in a very tight game, hard luck lads. The u/16’s finally got the win they were craving on Saturday afternoon in Ballinderry when they played Sallypark in a friendly, the score was 3-2, things can only improve. And on to the junior team who played at home to Noreside on Sunday afternoon in the league, and came away with a 3-1 win, the goals were all scored by John Flannery, Willie Cleary and Darren Carroll, well done guys, don’t let it slip now.
With calendar sales going well, will anyone with sponsorship money or calendar money please drop it into Damien asap. Also any young players from u/11 down that might be interested in starting to play soccer, there is training/start up skills every Saturday morning in Ballinderry with Dave Corboy at 12pm, all are welcome. Training fixtures will be sent by text.

BOXERCISE
As part of a fitness regime Boxercise with Phil will take place in Kilbarron Hall each Wednesday from 8-9pm for the next few weeks. This is a great way to keep fit and improve muscles, it is open to everyone.
At present there is a group of 21 people locally taking part in ‘Operation Transformation’ to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society and your sponsorship would be very welcome.

TRADITIONAL MUSIC CLASSES
Traditional Music Classes have resumed in Terryglass Hall on Thursdays. Instruments include the fiddle, flute and tin whistle. Beginners and improvers of all ages are welcome. For more details contact John on 087 2869269.

PILATES CLASSES
Pilates Classes with Geri have resumed on Thursdays, in Kilbarron Hall at 8pm. Beginners always welcome.

COMMUNITY ALERT
The ‘Tip of the Week’- is to be a good neighbour-we recognise that one of the best means of crime prevention is to be a ‘good neighbour’. This is someone who will keep an eye on your house when you are away and will take care in ensuring everything is well.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 and €50 for a line, two lines and a full house respectively. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100.
Buses are available from the surrounding area,i.e.Nenagh/Ardcroney/Borrisokane/Ballinderry and Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/Terryglass. Buses depart at 7pm and for further information contact Ken Daly 087 6273177 or 067 21988.

RURAL TRANSPORT
A bus is available to take parishioners from Terryglass, Ballinderry and Coolbawn to the Saturday 7.30pm Mass in Terryglass and departs from Terryglass at 6.50pm.  For further information or to book a place please contact Loretta Tiernan 067 28066 or Mary Tierney 28167
The bus to Nenagh each Thursday departs Paddy’s, Terryglass at 10am, Ballinderry 10.10, Coolbawn (Molamphy’s) 10.20 arriving in Nenagh at 11am. The bus returns from Nenagh at 2.10pm .We urge you to consider availing of these services, which are free to Travel Pass holders. The bus operator is Ken Daly 087 6273177 or 067 21988 or if you require more information on any route please contact Louise 067 27088. A bus travels each Friday from Nenagh via Borrisokane and Ballingarry to Bingo in Birr.
A bus also travels to Borrisokane each Monday departing from Terryglass around 1pm, via Ballinderry, Coolbawn and Carney Commons and arrives at 2pm and departs for home at 4pm. Services are door to door and booking can be made by contacting Ken Daly

CHURCH NEWS
November Station Masses will be as follows: Kilbarron Saturday November 24th at 8pm and Terryglass on Sunday 25th November at 9.30pm.
