RECENT WEDDING
Congratulations to James Stack, Killea and Alicia Ryan, Capparoe, Nenagh who were married recently in Silvermines church. We wish you both a long and happy future together.

TERRYGLASS ARTS FESTIVAL
The AGM for Terryglass Arts Festival takes place in Terryglass Hall on Thursday July 7th at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome.

KILBARRON TIDY TOWNS
We would like to thank everyone for their support at last week-end’s launch of the new hand painted map and Kilbarron brochure. Work evenings continue every Monday at 8pm from the car park. All help welcome.

BALLINDERRY SPORTSFIELD FUNDRAISING DRAW
The Sportsfield Committee are planning to launch a Fundraising Draw in the Pavillion, Ballinderry on Friday July 1st at 8.30pm. The aim of this draw is to clear the development loan on the field, and all support would be greatly appreciated.

KILBARRON TERRYGLASS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Sunday July 3rd 2016 is set for the Historical Society annual outing. This year we will be heading to Dublin to take in Collins Barracks Museum, Arbour Hill Cemetery and the National Photographic Archive. The cost of the trip is only €20. Anyone interested in going can give their name to any member of the committee. We will be stopping in the Aishling Hotel for lunch during the day where people can get a bite to eat (at own expense). Last year’s outing was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all so don’t miss out this year and book your seat as soon as possible.

Our next outing is on Saturday 2nd July in Tullamore . Tee time 10-11. All Welcome

NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY
There will be a meeting of our Support Group in our Office at 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Wednesday 29th. June at 11am. Families and/or carers of people with Dementia/Alzheimers are invited to come along and receive information and support. They will also meet other carers, have a chat and a “cuppa”. U14 CAMOGIE FEILE
Congratulations to the Shannon Rovers u14 Camogie team who represented the club so well at this year’s Feile na nGael and reached the semi-final in Lismore, Co. Waterford last Saturday evening. Thanks also to the local families who hosted players and mentors from Dublin team Lucan Sarsfields.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,500. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
