PHOTO APPEAL
Kilbarron N.S. Parents Association are currently seeking old school photographs from down the years. We are in the early stages of compiling a book which brings together the memories and pictures of both students and teachers from all eras of the school. If anyone has memorabilia or pictures we could include we would be very grateful. Please contact Kathy Slattery, Margaret O’Brien or Carmel Fox.

WALK ON ST STEPHENS DAY
A sponsored walk will take place on St Stephens Day from the Sports Field in Ballinderry, all money raised will go towards purchasing a defibrillator for the field. Please support this very worthy cause.

CHRISTMAS JUMPERS FOR BILLY
Fundraising night in aid of 2 year old Billy Goulding who continues his treatment in Temple Street Children’s Hospital after a virus left him paralysed. One last chance to wear your Christmas jumper (or t-shirt, apron , even Santa Hat) on St. Stephen’s night in Hannigans from 9pm. All local musicians welcome to join in the session – music, craic, raffle, a great night promised. Please join us and support this very deserving cause.

BALLINDERRY SPORTSFIELD
A sincere thank you and well done to all the teams and clubs who used the facilities during the past year. We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and continued success in 2015, and look forward to your support for some very exciting projects that we have planned for the New Year.

SHANNON ROVERS CAMOGIE NOTES

OPERATION TRANSFORMATION
Operation Transformation completed its very successful course last Wednesday night in Hannigans. Well done to all the people who took part over the past couple of months. Keep up the walking and exercising over the festive period and hopefully we will see you again in the New Year.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,800. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surroundingsurrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/Ballinderryand Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
