FILM SCREENING IN KILBARRON HALL
Kilbarron Hall committee are delighted to announce that they will host a screening of ‘The Cormack Brothers’ on Friday, April 7th at 8pm in Kilbarron Hall. Admission is €8
‘The Cormack Brothers’ was written and directed by Alan Brown and film on location in County Tipperary. The film tells the story of two brothers who were wrongfully hanged in 1858 for the murder of a local land agent, setting in motion events fifty years on as Ireland fought for independence. This is an emotional telling of the true story of the Cormack brothers, from Loughmore, who were hanged in Nenagh jail. Fifty years on their bodies were exhumed and reburied in their home parish of Loughmore. Alan will be present on the night and it would be a great opportunity to meet him and learn more about the making of the film.
