WEDDING
Congratulations to Kevin Hogan, Gortmore, Terryglass and Anne Marie Buckley, Roscrea who were married recently in Terryglass Church. We wish the happy couple a long and happy life together.

NEW FOOTBRIDGE
The New Wheelchair Accessible Footbridge in Terryglass will be officially opened at 11:30 on Sunday 2nd July 2017 after Mass. All residents, visitors, family, and friends are invited to witness this long awaited addition to the Terryglass Village Walking Trail. This bridge will provide a safe and attractive crossing of Terryglass River, for pedestrians, children, prams and wheelchairs users from the Village to the Church and Littlewood Trail, without having to mind the traffic on the road bridge.

KILBARRON TIDY TOWNS
The work evenings continue every Wednesday evening at 7.30. Everyone welcome and all help is appreciated. A lot of work has been carried out in and around the village in the past few years and as a result we have seen great results in the Tidy Towns competitions. A little work each week will maintain the current the appearance of the village and help with the future improvement plans.

NORTH TIPP. ALZHEIMER SOCIETY
There will be a meeting of our Support Group in our Office at 3a, Ormond Court, Summerhill, Nenagh on Wednesday 28th. June from 11am. – 12 noon.  Families and/or carers of people with Dementia/Alzheimer’s are invited to come along and receive information and support  and also meet other carers, have a chat and a “cuppa”.   This meeting is not for Dementia/Alzheimer sufferers – it is strictly for families and/or carers only.    For more information contact Mary:  086.6099414 or Aileen: 087.2076814.

BALLINDERRY SPORTSFIELD LOTTO
The weekly Lotto goes to the continued upkeep and maintenance of the Pavilion and Sportsfield. We are asking that all parents, guardians and players over 18 years would contribute €2 per week to the Lotto, either to the officers of each club each week, or if you wish you may pay by ‘Top Up’ – yearly, 6 monthly or on a monthly basis.  Please contact Marcella at 087 6879502 to arrange this facility.

BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh, Ardcroney, Borrisokane, Ballinderry and Ballingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
