SYMPATHY
The death occurred on September 21st of Madeline Brock, Cornalack, Terryglass (nee Moran, Coolbawn. Her husband Tony died just one week earlier on September 14th Our sympathy is extended to theirson Tony, daughter-in-law Tracy, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.Funeral Mass took place in Kilbarron Church on Friday, September 25th at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery
Sympathy is also extended to Martha Bourke and family, Springfield on the recent death of her brother Eddie Kennedy, Wolfe Tone Terrace. Nenagh.

U 16 HURLING
Best of luck to the Lorrha/Rovers Gaels u16 team in the County (b) hurling final against Gortnahoe/Glengoole this Saturday 3rd October at 12noon in Annacarty.Your support would be appreciated.

KILBARRON DRAMA GROUP
The Drama Group AGM takes place next Monday, October 5th at 9pm in the Small Hall Kilbarron. We will review last year’s production and start planning for 2016. If you would like to become involved in the group, we would love to see you. New faces are always welcome as cast members, but if that’s not your thing, then we also need people for set building, back stage work, make-up and costumes etc, we will make use of your talents!!

BORRISOKANE MEET & TRAIN
Meeting every Monday 7-8pm infront of Borrisokane Community College. New members welcome – €5 pay as you go! All abilities catered for.

GERMAN & ART CLASSES

CHURCH NEWS
First Friday Masses on Friday October 2nd in Kilbarron at 9am and Teryglass at 8pm. Confessions will be available before both Masses.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION 2016 :
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered by Fr. Michael in KilbarronChurch on Sunday May 15th at 11am. First Holy Communion takes place as follows:Kilbarron – Sunday May 1st at 11am. Terryglass – Sunday May 8th at 11am.
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION is now taking place each Wednesday in the Sacristy of KilbarronChurch at the usual times.

USED CLOTHING COLLECTION
Start collecting your used clothing, shoes, linens, household textiles, stuffed toys (any condition once they are clean). Bags may be dropped to Kilbarron school any Friday from now on.

TERRYGLASS CEMETERY COMMITTEE
In advance of the upcoming AGM it is requested that any outstanding annual maintenance fees for 2015 for the cemetery in Terryglass, be forwarded to John Mulvihill, Treasurer, at the earliest convenience. If more convenient, the fees can be left at Donal Leenane’s Butchers, Borrisokane or the Post Office in Terryglass, for collection. BINGO
There is Bingo every Monday in Terryglass Community Hall at 8.30pm sharp organised by the Shannon Rovers GAA Club with great money prizes, including an excellent Jackpot of €1,000. Contact Oliver Darcy for further information. The prizes are excellent with €15, €20 for a line and two lines respectively and full houses now range from €50, €70, €100 and €120. There is a flyer for €150 each week and the full house if the jackpot isn’t won is €100. Buses are available from the surrounding area i.e. Nenagh/Ardcroney/ Borrisokane/BallinderryandBallingarry/Rathcabbin/Lorrha/Carrigahorig/ Terryglass.
